Services for Nonprofit Organizations with Endowments at CCF
When a nonprofit organization creates an endowed fund to provide a permanent source of funding for its own work, CCF will provide the following services:
Investment Management
- Quarterly fund statements
- Annual distributions
- Annual meeting with Investment Consultant for Board members and staff
- Three levels of investment oversight—a highly qualified staff, an investment committee of local experts, and professional investment consultants
- Investment management information available to donors
Marketing Support
- Help with press releases and media contacts
- Article promoting fund when established in What Gives? (CCF’s newsletter)
- Listing of fund in CCF’s annual report
- Promotional information piece for use in your solicitations
Support of organization’s direct mail solicitations
- Donor recognition (for individually named funds designated for your organization)
Gift Reports
- Donor acknowledgement letters sent and notification of your organization (if desired)
- Periodic Reports with donor names, addresses, gift amounts
Planned Giving Assistance
- Q&A pieces on various types of planned gifts
- Assistance with donor prospect presentations
- PGCalc gift calculations for potential donors
- Trustee services for Charitable Remainder Trusts that will benefit your endowment
- What Gives? newsletter with Planned Giving features can be sent to your donors
- Acceptance of unusual types of assets – real estate, closely held stock
Note: CCF does not provide support for fund raising events or raffles conducted by the organization. CCF will not run profiles of donors when such information is not related to the donor’s gifts to the organization.
